HCG Diet

Weight Loss Network Notes:  The FDA hates this diet, but I’m a big fan of it!  After a lot of frustrated attempts at dieting, a friend recommended the HCG diet to me.   Now, after losing 13 pounds, I’m pretty happy with the results!

I will warn you that the weight comes back on quickly if you do not follow the maintenance plan once you finish with the drops.   I also keep harping on the fact that to lose weight in a healthy manner, you really should pay attention to the types of food you eat, how much you’re eating, calculate the nutritional value of what you’re eating and exercise.

HCG stands for (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) which is a natural hormone that is found in all bodies but is commonly known as “the

pregnancy hormone.” When taken in very small doses, it aids in burning abnormal fat, which is usually found in excess in our stomach, back, rear end, hips, thighs, and arms. With the HCG drops, the body will consume the abnormal fat.

It is recommended a minimum of 26-days for your first cycle. For the 26 day plan, you will take the drops for 23 days and continue on the low-calorie diet for 3 days until the HCG is out of your system. For a quicker loss of weight, you can do the 15 day plan, or for more weight loss you can do the 40-day plan. With both the 15 and 40 day plans, you will discontinue the drops 3 days in advance.
