Our Review: Joy Bauer ought to know what she’s talking about!   She received her Bachelor degree in Kinesiological Sciences from the University of Maryland and a master of science in nutrition from New York University.    Joy's Life Diet In addition to being the Nutrition and Health Expert for the TODAY show, Joy is the nutritionist for the New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, as well as an associate faculty member at Columbia University. Joy also founded and ran of one of the largest, most advanced nutrition centers in the country for close to two decades.  Her professional affiliations include American Dietetic Association: Registered Dietitian,  Associate — Columbia University,  New York State Certified Dietitian–Nutritionist, American Dietetic Association: Sports & Cardiovascular Nutritionist Group and American Dietetic Association: Pediatric Practice Group.

There are four aspects to her diet plan.  The first step to the plan is seven days.  You will start losing immediately but the main aspect of Step One is setting up good habits, breaking old habits and learning new patterns.

Step Two is reprogramming ourselves to think differently and to continue working on breaking the old bad habits.

Step Three: More of the same.  Work on re-energizing yourself.   Yoga for the mind appears to be thrown in here.   This step lasts as long as you need it to in order to meet your goals.

Step Four is when you have reached your goal and it’s time to get out there and show the world how great you look.

The cost of her plan is $4 per week.   As with many of these plans, our criticism is that you have to sign up with all your information before you get the opportunity to decide how you feel about the plan.
